My wife, Sally and I reside in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains in north Georgia with  our neighbors, deer, bear, racoons, rabbits, squirrels, fox and an occasional coyote. Thanks to a career in the Air Force and another with Lockheed I have traveled the world before settling in the north Georgia “mountains” to paint and enjoy the good life.

My degree in Fine Art is from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, a long way from Georgia.  I have been fortunate to have been accepted in national and regional exhibits and won awards in both. I am a member of the Georgia Watercolor Society, a signature and life member of the Transparent Watercolor Society of America and belong to several local art associations which allow me to display work in many towns and galleries in north Georgia.  My paintings are executed in watercolor or acrylic mediums depending on the results I think will work best with the subject matter.

The watercolors lend themselves to very nice giclee’ prints and I have sold several prints to happy customers.  The acrylics also print well but it takes a lot more effort working with my printer on color corrections.
